Over the decades, Big Bertha has been most modelers' first big build. While standing on its massive fins, this big rocket checks in at an impressive Over 5 feet tall!! If you've never flown a Bertha, get one and launch it. Once you've flown it, you'll take it to every launch!
The Big Bertha gives you a slow, realistic liftoff. What a thrill it is to watch! Propelled by powerful 38mm engines, this beauty travels to over 4000 feet and comes back to earth on by parachute. Add a LOC ebay and fly it dual deploy. Quality LOC body tubes, laser cut wood fins, and printed ABS nose cone make for an enjoyable build!

"The attached picture shows Gleda holding the original Big Bertha I built in the mid 1960’s. (I’m holding the second Bertha.) I built both of these at a meeting(s) of the Astron Rocket Society, held in a repurposed garage in back of our house in Penrose. Both model are now retired and displayed in my home museum. At least the original BB will end up at the MOF in Seattle. A good color scheme candidate for the “Super Big Bertha Plus” would be the red, white and black color of the original BB Gleda is holding (with NSL-2018 notation and signatures instead of the decorative decals)."
